Sharing knowledge and making design disciplines accessible is essential.

As a Bachelors' student in Architecture, I lacked access to parametric design tools that would have helped me realize my visions and push the limits of my imagination. Through my teaching, I hope to provide a path for students and professionals who are looking to enter the world of parametricism.

Being an educator motivates me to dive deeper into this craft everyday and I have realized that the satisfaction I receive from every workshop is unmatched. Till date, I have taught over 300 students aged 16 and above from across the globe.

CRAFT ELECTIVE

10th May - 14th May 2021 | IPSA, Rajkot, India

Fabricated Parametric Spaces -
1. Three days intensive elective for the third year B. Arch students to fabricate a
parametrically designed space using the method Modular Aggregation.
2. Each model was of 1M x 0.5M and had 250-350 modules.

PARAMETRIC ELECTIVE

15th Nov - 24th Nov 2021 | CTES COA, Mumbai, India

In the elective, the students learned how to create a parametric system of their designs using the two fundamental ingredients of Parametric Design - Geometry and Mathematics. They also understood the evolution of Parametric design and what are the changes that happened in the field over the due course of time.

Each day was focused on a different parametric module which finally culminated by re-creating famous architectural examples using parametric tools.

DESIGNING WITH IMAGES

7th, 9th & 11th June 2021 | POWRPLNT, Brooklyn, New York

With most people owning a camera and taking pictures, from selfies to travel landscapes, images have become a vital part of our daily life. In this workshop, the participants learned how to transform these images into designs and patterns or abstract them into 3d forms.

PARAMETRIC DESIGN ELECTIVE

Sep - Dec 2020 | KLS GIT, Belgaum, India

The students had to design a Pavilion in a group and fabricate it. As most of the parametrically designed objects stay in the digital realm, the main task of this elective was to get the design out, in reality, using grasshopper3D and laser cutting. The elective was for fourth-year B.Arch students.

PARAMETRIC THINKING WITH IMAGES

7th & 14th Nov 2020 | InterAccess, Toronto, Canada

In this two-session workshop, the participants learned how to transform images into designs and patterns, abstract them into 3D forms using Grasshopper3D.

The participants had brought their respective images for the workshop to transform, which allowed them to abstract and create various patterns out of it.

PARAMETRIC THINKING  FOR INTERIORS

18th & 21st Nov 2020 | SJB SAP, Bangalore, India

This two days workshop was focused on developing interior components using the parametric approach in design by using laser cutting and 3D printing along with learning grasshopper3D.

The workshop for conducted for fourth-year B.Arch students at SJB School of Architecture & Planning in Bangalore, India.

PARAMETRIC THINKING

Four Weekends | International

Workshop conducted for four weekends to explore foundational and intermediate skills for Grasshopper3D.  The workshop was purely focused on learning the parametric software by understanding what is a wire, what are data trees, and how a scripting interface leads to design.

ONE : ONE

16-19th Dec 2019 | KRVIA, Mumbai, India

The elective was carefully designed to fulfill the growing need amongst graduate students of architecture with two outcomes. To gain "basic to intermediate" level skills in parametric modeling. To construct a scaled model of the design created by the fifth-year students using digital fabrication especially laser cutting.

FAB CITY INNOVATION WORKSHOP

9th-13th July 2019 | Belgaum, India

A five day intensive workshop which was focused on designing using computational design and digital fabrication for new age urbanism. The workshop provided the participants to experiment with these technologies by building a 1:1 scale model using CNC milling.
