Over the two-part workshop, participants were introduced to the idea of how images can be used to create sculptures and artworks followed by a basic intro to the scripting interface of Grasshopper3D. After this, we recreated some of the famous artworks like the Nelson Mandela Monument by Marco Cianfanelli.

By the end of the workshop, each participant was able to abstract and create art from any image they choose. The patterns were created by extracting the brightness or the RGB value on an image. Swipe right to see the content of the workshop. All the images used in the workshop are stock images.
